The Boys of Nicaragua

I wanted to add some of my photographs of the people of Nicaragua because while I was there I took many photographs.  How better to describe the people of a country, other than photographing them?  A picture is worth a thousand words, they say.  I guess I love photographing people because I love them!  Sometimes I try to take a secret photograph when the person is unaware that I am photographing them.  These are often the best photographs of people.  Other times, you just have to ask people for their permission.  They then get all uncomfortable of they flash you their wonderful smiles.

The people of Nicaragua are warm and friendly, passionate about many things and always willing to help.

This photograph of three young teenage boys in their school uniforms were a delight to photograph.  They were all game to be my models.  You can tell by their smiles which light up the photograph.
