Nicaragua is a country that carries its  traditions deeply in the heart.  Nicaragua is the perfect place to experience the encounter between two worlds.  There are a variety of  traditional fiestas which express these two worlds which you will experience if you visit during the festival or carnival time.

There are religious holidays, indigenous cultural celebrations and also fiestas from the days of the Spanish conquest, all combining to celebrate an unforgettable history that makes up Nicaragua today.

Festivals in Nicaragua come with brightly colored costumes, Latin music, firecrackers and celebration!  If you are traveling to Nicaragua at the time of these carnivals and celebrations, make sure you book your hotel in Nicaragua well in advance.  Banks and offices are closed for the festivities.  Be sure you have enough money on hand   Make all your Nicaragua travel arrangements beforehand.
