Nicaragua, beautiful Nicaragua!

After visiting Nicaragua recently and falling in love with the country, I decided to make a website about Nicaragua.  From it’s pristine beaches, the volcanoes and volcanic lakes, the rainforests, its colorful cities with beautiful Colonial architecture and its vibrant people and culture, Nicaragua has so much to offer.

Nicaraguan tourism is something waiting to happen.  Nicaragua is all set up for you to visit.

This website will feature information about Nicaragua, photographs, hotels, restaurants, places to visit and things to do.

I hope you enjoy your stay.  Ola! Nicaragua!

Hi, I just had to ask: is “ola” a reference to its English translation “wave,” or do you mean HOLA, as in hello??

It’s a play on the word “Hola” – pronounced by people as “Ola.”

Hello congratulations on your site! Looks like maybe you aren’t updating it very often lately but I wanted to comment on your Best Hotels in Managua story. You alluded to it with a link to a review of a smaller property at the end of the article, but I’d like to reiterate for your readers that there are a few really nice options for those who do not want to be in the center of hot, dirty, and noisy Managua. So if you read that and were dismayed at the idea of spending a night or two in an expensive sterile chain hotel, just look into some of the alternatives, such as Bed and Breakfast, farmstay, and eco-lodges.

Thanks Mike for the pointers on where to stay. Different things please different people, some like what a B&B would offer and there are others that long for the expensive hotel chain type place.

As for updating, yes, I’d better get to it.
